African Kitchen Gallery was a West African and Caribbean restaurant near London’s Euston Station, and an art gallery selling a range of traditional sub-Saharan art.
Akin, owner and chef, said, "I strived to produce ‘soul food’ from slow-cooked and carefully prepared prime ingredients. As well as offering time-honoured spicy Caribbean food, I have taken the liberty of adding some unique extras to some of the most traditional West African dishes to give them a more dynamic flavour."
None of our dishes contained dairy products, monosodium glutamate, wheat, added animal fat or artificial colourings. We use only extra virgin olive oil.
